My freeze Ray wristers are complete. I don’t normally wear wristers but these I really love for some reason.
Now I will have warm cozy wrists as I hum the songs from the show. Yup, warm toasty wrists. All August long. Anyway, these wristers are in honor of mad scientist love stories. A few of my favorites are below, but I am always taking suggestions:
Dr. Horrible’s Sing Along Blog
Johnathan Coulton’s “Skullcrusher Mountain”
Brains feature prominently in this for some reason, so I’ll encourage you all (yes, each of the four of you that reads this blog) to visit the Museum of Scientifically Accurate Brain Art. Also, there’s a 50% off sale on sci fi at Amazon! Yay!
You can’t tell, but in the second picture I’m totally looking up the word “evil” in the dictionary.

In my endless repeating cycle of Buffy watching (good god my life is a depressing cliche, isn’t it), I just got to “I Was Made to Love You, ” which might count as a mad scientist love story? It doesn’t exactly work out in the end, but they usually don’t.
That’s a good one! Most mad scientist love stories go badly in the end. I’ve just started watching Dr. Who–perhaps I’ll find one there?
Update: I love dictionaries.
Love the wristers!
