Knitting became a form of protest this week when Grandmothers for Peace staged an anti-war demonstration in New York.

Mr. Yoshioka will present a public lecture, “Color, Design, and Ritual in Japan’s Heian Court,” on April 7th at 7:30pm in Radio & TV Room 251.
On April 8th at 10am and 2pm there will be demonstrations of natural dyes on paper in Fine Arts 230 (Textiles Studio). All are welcome to attend.
